Science
Tuacahn High School for the Arts has given me an opportunity unlike any other I have had to practice and improve my skills in the art and science of teaching, and to engage students in hands-on science experiences. My hope is that students will leave with a greater appreciation of how the world works and how they can use the process of science in their daily lives to become more informed and thoughtful citizens of the world. I choose Tuacahn for this reason, and for the support given to me and my family that has enabled me to continue taking advantage of this opportunity to pursue this goal.
